Bronze Sculptor

Willie Botha was born in Pretoria, South Africa in 1958
From an early age he showed a keen interest in creating sculptures and attended various informal sculpting courses at Pretoria Technicon.
Some work a lifetime to unlock their artistic abilities. Willie Botha discovered his at a very young age and has been committed to creating fine art that captures the imagination of those who stand before his work.
Willie has developed the ability to convey an image or idea in a medium that has a powerful impact. He has a strong technical background and an eagerness to design and create.
Putting his skills to the test; he decided to create a "start to finish" studio in Hermanus, South Africa. Being able to have this studio allows Willie to have a hands on approach in consulting, designing, sculpting, casting and finishing each piece.
All sculptures are produced in the town in which Willie resides; Hermanus, South Africa. The studio was founded in 2006 and was customized by himself to reflect the needs of the art form of casting bronze sculptures. Willie ensured every detail of his surroundings was to enable the best piece of art. This includes an office, gallery, drawing studio, casting area and molding area custom to his needs. The space is available for private viewings upon request.

Guests can now look forward to a luxury sensory experience whilst sitting back and taking in the unique views over Stellenbosch and the peninsula and enjoying Hidden Valley's premium wines, food and art.
